Italian Workshop Presentation + Jam Session
If you have already booked, or are thinking about booking your trip to the Jazz Improvisation Workshop in Italy on June 7-13, come and see a special presentation of the program at 8pm.
Jam Sessions will be held every last FRIDAY of the month. Start time is 9pm conducted by
Dave Ambrosio.
Bring your instrument and be ready to get into the music!

A special performance by NYJW alumni Eric Cheng and his all star band, featuring Dave Ambrosio, Dave Scott and Satoshi Takeishi.

Presentation on Music Production + Saxophone Quartet Concert!
A presentation by Marc Mommaas on music production and ‘What It Takes To Make A Record’ followed by a performance by NYJW’s own Saxophone Quartet: Marc Mommaas, Eli Hershiser, Sunyun Yoo, Matthew Mayer

JUNE 8: FACULTY and STUDENT CONCERT at the FUCECCHIO Jazz Festival as part of our International summer intensive in ITALY. Including Marc Mommaas, Jeroen Vierdag and Kenny Wessel.

JUNE 15/16: STUDENT CONCERTS at SILVANA in Harlem NY – all 20 workshops.

NEW FOR THE FALL: Every Saturday NYJW will host student and faculty concerts.
More information will follow shortly, it will start up in October 2019.

COPENHAGEN Masterclass with Sebastian Noelle and Marc Mommaas

NYJW is excited to present a one-time special Masterclass with Guitarist Sebastian Noelle and Marc Mommaas in
Copenhagen in the time period of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. The workshop will focus on rhythmic concepts and composition and will be held at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen on July 14, 12-3pm.
