Marc Mommaas for a two-hour
jazz improvisation workshop focused on ensemble and improvisational playing. This ongoing, hands-on music class is open to all levels and offers a path for musicians to enter the world of jazz improvisation by learning
jazz standards. Participants will be encouraged to learn, play, and improvise in a welcoming and non-judgmental setting. The Ensemble and Improvisational Playing Workshop provides a unique opportunity to work in-depth on improvisation techniques, form, chord progressions, and melodic development. You’ll use compositions from the
standard jazz repertoire as a platform to learn and develop your playing, no matter what style of music you wish to play in your own time. This is a wonderful and creative environment for anyone wishing to get into the music together with other musicians. Get ready to improve your musicianship and dive into the world of jazz improvisation with Marc Mommaas.
