The New York Jazz Workshop can bring live music to your private events, office parties, charity events, art galleries, and music festivals of all shapes and sizes! In addition to single events, some of our most successful live music campaigns have been weekly events with our ensembles scheduled to perform anywhere from one to seven nights a week. We can curate your event and the appropriate group depending on location budget and scope of the event.
The Ensembles
Each event is unique and we strive to work with you to provide an ensemble that perfectly complements your individual atmosphere. Our typical ensembles are duos, trios, and quartets, but we can also supply quintets, sextets and large ensembles. These groups can be instrumental or include vocalists. Our roster includes a wide range of musicians—both professionals and seasoned students—add flair to any venue (See our faculty page for some of the artist’s bio). Our faculty performs in all major jazz clubs from the Blue Note to Dizzy Coca Cola as well as all major jazz festivals both nationally and abroad. We can tailor our style and repertoire to match the mood you’re going for: sultry standards, energetic up-tempo swing, Latin jazz, bebop, Afro jazz, and more! Below are a few of our popular programs that we can bring to your event:
