Idle Moments

This extra slow, 16 bar, minor key ballad is very straightforward and a good place to begin improvising. The opening vamp runs through the various 7th extensions of C minor. The first section is just II – V – I while the next adds the IV chord and then II – V – IV. IV being the sister chord to I (Link).
