Jazz Vocal Workshop back up and running…
I had a sweet time on the road in March and so great to return to running the The Jazz Vocal Workshop every other Thursday for the New York Jazz Workshop. This new session of the workshop got underway with us picking up where we left off on the Song Interpretation exercise we worked on in the first session. The students that continued into this new session had a few weeks to delve into the lyrics of their songs. A few of the new students (just starting this session) got a lot out of of the exercise as well at least getting into how the process works and this is a building process, one students can apply to any songs they want to sing! In other great news, we are almost at capacity! Plus we’re adding an accompanist to the workshop as well. Super excited and looking forward to letting you know how the next one goes when we meet again on Thursday, April 26th.
