The Great American Songbook Revisited
A little Cole Porter with your martini? NYJW faculty members and seasoned students will perform the classic repertoire of the American song book, with a twist. Re‐harmonization and new treatments of classic tunes will bring a whole new perspective to the tunes that made jazz famous around the word.
Modern Jazz Night
From the late ‘60s to the ‘80s, musicians such as Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Pat Metheny dominated the jazz world with their innovative styles and musical ideas. World-class jazz musicians will entertain the guests of the with their spunk and expertise.
African Jazz
From Africa to America and back! Enjoy the haunting melodies and hypnotic rhythms of Africa mixed with a hint of jazz. African and International musicians playing beautiful instruments such as the Kora (an ancient African harp), the talking drums (used by African hunters), and the Djembe will soothe and entertain the audience. Dancing allowed!
Saxophone Quartet
Bring some class to the party. From Bach and Piazolla to Charlie Parker and Porky and Bess. Ideal for business gatherings, corporate events and dinner parties. With virtuosity and elegance this quartet navigate through world famous compositions. The quartet consists of Soprano, Alto, tenor and Baritone Saxophone. To get into the Christmas spirit here an example:

The New York Jazz workshop provides and transports the necessary equipment for the performance to your venue at no additional cost.
Insurance
The New York Jazz Workshop can provide a certificate of general liability insurance for its musicians upon request.

Our reasonable pricing varies based on the number of musicians and the amount of time they perform at an event. We’ll be able to give you a quote right away.
