Intro to Jazz Improvisation, for musicians that have no experience in improvisation and are eager to jump. No Jazz experience required.
This ongoing course offers a path for musicians to enter the world of jazz improvisation. In a welcoming and non-judgmental environment, participants will be encouraged to play and improvise. The Intro to Jazz Improvisation workshop is a wonderful and warmhearted environment. Get ready to get into the music with like minded spirits. Twice per year participants will have the opportunity to perform a showcase at Smalls jazz club or another jazz venue around town.
