Keith Jarrett – 1967
‘Lisbon Stomp’ is from Keith Jarrett’s debut album, “Life Between the Exit Signs”. It’s a fresh look at how II-V-I changes can be employed.
Difficulty = Straightforward
‘Lisbon Stomp’ begins with repeated II-V-I changes in E then one in C. Bar 11 is a bVII (backdoor) cadence to Db followed by a stepwise transition back to the second half of the A-section.
