International Students-Jazz Studies Packages

In addition to our Summer Summit Jazz Music intensives , the New York Jazz Workshop offers to International students several jazz studies packages for all instruments.

Our mission is to enable aspiring musicians to experience the variety of music that the word jazz
comprises through the various activities that the New York Jazz Workshop offers.

Many of our teachers speak several languages, and we can help you finding accommodation in New York. The following packages are basic guidelines that can be customized and modified according to the music student’s specific needs and interests.

The Jazz packages below, are available from the second week of September to the last week of June, while the weekly jazz workshops are in session.

Alternatively In July and August you can combine one of our summer intensives with private lessons. The 3-day and 5-day packages are subdivided into beginner and intermediate/advanced levels. All lessons will be held at the main space of New York Jazz Workshop located at 265 West 36th Street on the 10th floor. The 3-day weekend packages can be held also during weekdays if necessary. Additional lessons and workshops can also be added depending on availability. All packages are subject to teacher/workshop availability and all prices may vary accordingly. Options: you can choose any other teacher on our faculty as your preferred choice for private lessons. Prices may vary. We reserve the right to change the workshop you requested based on your musicianship level and availability.

STUDENT A: Double Bass Student – two month program.

Three workshops:
-Bebop workshop : Mondays at 8:30pm. 8 two hour sessions
-Funk/Fusion workshop (material of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea etc.) : Wednesdays at 8:30. 8 two hour sessions
-Jazz Standard workshop : Saturdays at 4pm. 7 two hour sessions

Private lessons with Andrea Veneziani:
7 weeks, 2 one hour lessons a week. 14 Private lessons in total. $57 an hour. 14 x 57.00 = $798.00
